• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or our systems
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material

4. Digital Exposure Assessments

Our Digital Exposure Assessment service involves analysing publicly available data sources to produce a report on your digital footprint. By commissioning an Assessment, you confirm that:

• You are requesting the Assessment for yourself or for a person who has given explicit consent
• You will not use the resulting report for unlawful surveillance or to harm any individual
• You understand the Assessment is based on publicly accessible data at the time of the investigation and may not be exhaustive

5. Payment and Refunds

Fees for our services are as stated on our website at the time of purchase. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

Due to the nature of investigative and research work, we do not offer refunds once an Assessment has commenced. If you have concerns about a completed report, please contact us and we will review in good faith.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, branding, and materials produced by Barnveil remain the intellectual property of Barnveil unless expressly assigned in writing. Reports produced for you may be used for your own personal or internal business purposes but may not be resold or distributed without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Barnveil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of our Services. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information obtained through the Services will be accurate or complete.

8. Barnveil Creator Studio

Barnveil Creator Studio is a content publishing platform operated by Barnveil that enables privacy educators and digital safety creators to publish original video content directly to their TikTok profiles via the TikTok Content Posting API.

By connecting your TikTok account to Barnveil Creator Studio, you authorise the platform to publish content to your TikTok profile on your explicit instruction. No content is published without your direct confirmation. You may revoke this authorisation at any time via your TikTok account settings.

Barnveil Creator Studio does not store your TikTok credentials, does not post content without user initiation, and does not access any TikTok account data beyond what is required to facilitate publishing.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish through the Creator Studio. Content must comply with TikTok's Community Guidelines and all applicable UK laws.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Services may interact with or reference third-party platforms and data sources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party services. Inclusion of any third-party link or reference does not constitute an endorsement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
